Rater Code of Ethics
Artificial Wisdom™ Raters are committed to providing quality and professional video game ratings. The Rater Code of Ethics inscribes principles, instructions, responsibilities and duties required by Artificial Wisdom ™. The Rater Code of Ethics is a minimum standard applicable to all Raters employed by Artificial Wisdom ™ to rate video games for educational content.
Professional Conduct
Ÿ Raters shall be objective and neutral when rating a video game and in making any recommendations.
Ÿ Raters are prohibited from having any financial interest in any area of the video game industry, except for ownership of video games and video game equipment.
Ÿ Raters shall not engage in any conduct that is detrimental to the reputation of any entity in the video game industry or to the best interests of Artificial Wisdom/G.R.A.D.E ™.
Ÿ Raters shall at all times comply with the standards, requirements and expectations defined by Artificial Wisdom/G.R.A.D.E. ™ in the "Requirements for Raters" guide.
Ÿ Raters shall avoid all conflicts of interest with regard to their professional activities and financial interest. When a Rater becomes reasonably aware that an actual or potential conflict of interest exists, the Rater shall not provide services.
Ÿ Raters shall not allow an interest in any business to affect the results of the rating.
Ÿ Raters shall immediately report violations of this Code or other concerns regarding the professional conduct of other Raters to the directors of Artificial Wisdom™. |
