OF FAIR PLAY, CONDUCT AND FUN Fun For All: The object of video gaming is for all players to have a good time, so keep the mood light and spirits high. Rushing and Sneaky Tactics: Rushing and all kinds of sneaky tactics are legal unless the players decide otherwise before the game starts. Drinks: All pop/soda cans are returned to the kitchen sink and rinsed, or put in the trash. Food: All uneaten food is returned to the kitchen and placed in containers, or put in the trash. Spills & Clean Hands Rule: When a player spills food or drink, the game is immediately paused for clean up. Players must resist the temptation to peek at other players screens. Players must have clean hands at all times when using computer/console game equipment. Cheating: Cheating is strictly prohibited unless agreed upon before the game begins. Fibbing: Pretending to be strong when you are weak, or weak when you are strong is permitted if all players are old enough to know what fibbing means. All kinds of clever deception are permitted unless players decide otherwise before the game starts. Whiners Rule: Whiners are encouraged to learn how to lose gracefully. To that end, all remaining players are encouraged to attack the whiner upon the first whine. Cooperative play, (humans working together versus the computer), is encouraged to give all human players a chance to enjoy working together and to give whiners a break from being slaughtered. Jeering Rule: Any player who intentionally teases another player, (especially a brother or sister), intending to make them angry or feel bad, automatically loses the game. A person who jeers but refuses to admit they lose and stop playing is declared a Rule 8 Whiner, and all remaining players must immediately attack them. The Power Interruption Tactic: Any player who disrupts power to the computer/game equipment is declared the automatic loser. The Winners Rule: Winner's don't use drugs or cigarettes. Winners do get daily exercise, eat healthy meals, get plenty of rest and have goals. (You probably already knew this rule.) |
